Samsung Q600B and B650 soundbars are large enough to suit between the legs of 70 to 80” TV screens. They come in a simple black color and have curved sides. Subwoofers are available with both these models that are similar sized. The soundbars can be wall mounted to save space. They have great build and feels durable. Plastic material is used for bodies and the drivers are covered with a metal grille. With the subwoofers, you need to take extra care due to cloth like covering.

Performance:

Comparing Samsung Q600B vs B650, the Q600B is a 3.1.2 channel soundbar but the B650 does not have any up-firing drivers. Samsung HW-Q600B has 8 drivers that run with a power of 200W. It works with Acoustic Beam technology that improves the sound so that the sound can from where action is happening on screen. The soundbar has a wide and powerful soundstage that is quite accurate. Both these models are expandable with Samsung SWA-9200S rear speakers. The B650 bar will also work with SWA-9100 model. Unlike the Q600B, the HW-B650 model does not have Tap Sound feature. With this, users can simply tap their phone on the bar to play files.

Connectivity:

The Q600B and B650 soundbars have HDMI and optical out, 1 HDMI in and USB. None of the bars have Wi-Fi so you will miss a whole lot from the internet world. Only Bluetooth is available. They can even connect to TVs wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Control options:

Look at the top of these bars to find volume, power and input change controls. A sleek and slim remote with a few buttons is included. You can use it to choose and adjust sub volume, tone control, sound mode, channel level, etc. No ‘fancy’ voice controls are included.
