We listened to these speakers where most of the time it had good accuracy and dynamics. It has a wide and engaging soundstage as well.
KEF claims the centered tweeter ensures high-resolution audio with good accuracy. The CFD used in the bass port helps to reduce midrange leakage. With the included foam ports, you have the option to block the port if the bass sounds inaccurate. During our listening period, we heard the speakers remain accurate at low and high volumes. Listening to music and movies was pure joy. KEF ensures smooth transition from tweeter to woofer driver. Overall, we like how KEF Q350 can be room-filling with adequate bass.
Use case and installation:
Both Polk R200 and KEF Q350 can be used as front or rear speakers. Connection with amplifier or receiver is elaborately explained in the Polk user manual. Once the receiver is connected, set the speaker to small and the crossover between 50 to 80 Hz. Since it is a 4 ohm speaker, it is power hungry so make sure the amp/receiver matches the speaker.
