The Cinema uses the Klipsch Connect app and for Bose there is Bose Music app. Bose Music app offers audio options, multiroom setup, multiple user settings and options.

It also guides the user during setup. Unlike the Cinema 1200, the Bose 900 has Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant built-in. With the Cinema 1200 model, you have the option to connect additional voice assistant devices. Bose also has a Voice4Video feature with which users can use Alexa to talk to the bar, cable box, etc.

There are some similar audio options in both bars like voice mode, bass and treble settings, and top channel adjustment. Along with these, the Klipsch Cinema 1200 includes night mode, sound modes (standard, music, movies, game, direct and party). There is also a surround level option.
